Our Story

We are an honest and ethical husband-and-wife real estate team, always putting our clients' best interests first. Our clients value our responsive communication, local connections, and extensive market knowledge in Samara, Nosara, Carrillo and the surrounding areas.
After spending 20 incredible years in Austin, TX, our family embarked on a life-changing vacation to Costa Rica in 2021, and it was love at first sight. The shift to a digital work environment during the pandemic showed us that we could successfully fulfill our dream to transition our careers to any location in the world. We've since found our best life in the lush jungle of Playa Samara, where we wake up to ocean views and daily visits from howler monkeys and exotic birds.
Over the years, we've been deeply involved in multiple aspects of the real estate industry, giving us a well-rounded perspective that benefits our clients. From owning an insurance agency to remodeling homes, we've built hands-on experience in property value enhancement. We've owned and operated Airbnb's for 13 years, spoken at three HomeAway conferences, and participated in a HomeAway documentary on the life of a vacation rental owner. Buying our dream home in Costa Rica was the culmination of our hard work and passion for real estate, and we love helping others do the same. We have a keen eye for properties that offer both a great place to live and strong investment potential.
Beyond real estate, we've discovered a like-minded and progressive community that shares our values and aspirations to create a positive impact. We love spending time with our kids on the beach, surfing, boogie boarding, playing futbol, and practicing yoga, breathwork, and meditation - embracing everything this health-conscious haven has to offer.

In addition, we've consulted numerous friends and coworkers over the years on how to successfully establish and manage their Airbnbs, sharing insights on pricing, marketing, and operations.
And to answer the #1 question we always get—what do we do with all of our stuff? We have a simple system! We lock away personal items in designated storage spaces or use owner’s closets to keep things secure while renting out our properties. This allows us to seamlessly switch between personal use and short-term rentals without hassle.

HomeAway VRBO Conference Speakers
We were invited to speak in front of hundreds of vacation rental owners at the annual HomeAway Partner Summits, where we shared strategies for optimizing rental listings and leveraging social media to build customer relationships and increase bookings.
Chelsea, with her experience on Facebook's small business advertising team, demonstrated how to run targeted Facebook ads to attract travelers attending local events - helping owners secure last-minute bookings when needed.
It was an incredible experience, and we loved traveling to Hawaii, Florida, and Tennessee to connect with fellow hosts and industry professionals.
